Throughout the year, we hold public events at both our SF and Berkeley spaces.
Many of these events are produced in collaboration with local literary organizations.
To find out more about all our events, subscribe to our newsletter.
Our bi-monthly LitNights events give our community the opportunity to read their work in front of an audience.
LitNights events are free and open to the public...plus we pour Prosecco, wine, and fancy nonalcoholic drinks.
Sponsored in conjunction with Litquake, our monthly Write Together sessions give nonmembers the opportunity to write in one of our spaces.
Write Together sessions are held on Saturday mornings, and are free and open to the public.
In our How They Do It sessions, produced in collaboration with Litquake, published authors share their insights about writing, publishing, and the writers life with emerging writers.
These sessions are ticketed and open to the public, with all proceeds going to sponsor Litquake and LitCamp programming.
This series, co-sponsored by the San Francisco Zen Center explores the intersection of Buddhism and literature.
Guests for this series will include some of the finest Buddhist (and Buddhist adjacent) writers publishing today.
Our ZenLit series is ticketed and open to the public, with proceeds going toward funding SFZC and LitCamp programming.
