Accommodation options for
the conference
For 2026, we are offering 4 levels of accommodation so writers can choose the one that best fits their budget:
The Barn: Located on the top floor of the Barn (where we hold most of our events), this apartment includes 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining room & living room area, and full bath. The entire apartment is shared by 3 people, each with their own bedroom.
The Bunkhouse: Located next to the Toll House (where some of our faculty stay), it features a communal sleeping area, full kitchen, living room, private outdoor deck, full bath with shower & clawfoot tub. This option is shared by 4 people and is single gender.
Tent Cabins: The 2 Tent Cabins are a blend of tent and cabin, with high ceilings, a small sitting porch, electricity, and a heated bed. There is a luxurious bathhouse nearby for the tent dwellers, as well as an outdoor kitchen. These will be assigned single-occupancy.
Platform Tents: Platform tents feature electricity, a small sitting porch, and two heated twin beds. There is a luxurious bathhouse nearby for the tent dwellers, as well as an outdoor kitchen. 4 of the Platform Tents will be designated single occupancy. 5 will be designated double occupancy.
