Our Juried Conference returns
We'll be returning to Whispertree Retreat Center and Boonville in 2026 for our Spring Writers Conference.
​
Our faculty will feature 3 distinguished authors, plus 3 industry professionals from the NY publishing world.
​
The conference will feature morning workshops led by a different faculty member each day. Workshop groups will be limited to 4 writers to ensure each writer receives plenty of individual attention.
​
Afternoons will be devoted to master classes, both in the craft of writing, as well as the ins and outs of publishing.
​
After dinner, we'll gather in the barn to hear what the writers have been working on. (Yes, there will also be writing time built in to the conference.)
Limited to 24 writers
We will offer both single and shared accommodations, in everything from the Bunkhouse to the Barn, Tent Cabins to Platform Tents.
​
All meals will be provided by our excellent vegetarian chef.

We will begin accepting submissions to the conference beginning January 1
