Join LitCamp founder, Janis Cooke Newman, and 6 other writers for this 7-day, 6 night retreat in the beautiful, Colonial hill town of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.

We'll gather every day at noon, for a 60 minute craft talk, then regroup at 5:30 pm on the upper terrace (see view above) for Happy Hour and chance to share what we've been working on.
​
The rest of the time is yours to write, explore San Miguel, or just sit on the terrace and relax.
We've timed this retreat to coincide with the San Miguel Writers Conference, which will take place February 12 - 16, 2025.

Our accommodations will be at the pretty boutique hotel, Casa de la Cuesta, within walking distance of all San Miguel has to offer.

Casa de la Cuesta has only 8 rooms, and we've booked all of them for our writers. So we'll have the place to ourelves
​
Each room at Casa de la Cuesta is unique ,and filled with local folk art. Plus, there are lots of lovely public areas where you can sit and write, or just look at the view.

Details
Cost for the 7 day/6 night retreat is $1995
This includes accommodations at Casa de la Cuesta, full breakfast each morning, craft talks, and sharing time.
​
It does not include travel to San Miguel. We recommend arriving at either Léon or Santiago de Querétaro airports. Casa de la Cuesta can arrange car service to collect you at the airport and bring you to San Miguel.
How to apply
If you would like to join us in San Miguel, please submit no more than a one page description your project, and also tell why you'd like to be part of the San Miguel retreat.
Deadline for applying is midnight November 17, 2024.

We will let you know if you'll be joining us by December 3, 2024.

Please note that the full, nonrefundable payment is due by December 17, 2024.

Participants will choose their room in the order in which we receive payment.
