During our 4-day fall conference, you'll learn everything there is to know about the publishing process--from finding an agent, to signing a deal with a publisher, to making sure your book has the best publicity team behind it, to submitting your book for reviews and awards.

 

And you'll learn it from industry experts!

Your 4 days at the beautiful Bell Valley Retreat Center will be chockful of panels, Q&A sessions, pitching and podcasting workshops, and plenty of opportunity to ask our incredible faculty all your questions.

Prices for the 4-day conference range from $1295 to $2495, depending on accommodation chosen.

This fee includes accommodations, all 4 days of the conference, all talks, panels, and workshops, plus meals, provided by our amazing vegetarian chef.

​

We offer partial scholarships to the conference. Scholarships provide a $500 discount on the conference fee.

​

Please note that we will preference BIPOC, differently-abled, and other underserved writers when awarding these scholarships.

​

All scholarships will apply to the

Platform Tent accommodations only.

How to apply to the conference

We will begin accepting applications to the conference on June 1, 2023, close it on July 31.

​

To apply, please submit a one-page letter describing your project and why you'd like to attend the conference. Please include a writing sample of no more than 250 words.

​

Please also indicate your first and second accommodation choice, and whether you would like to be considered for a partial scholarship.

This will be a rolling admission process. We will accept writers as their requests come in.

Accommodations will be assigned on a first come/first serve basis.
Please Note that there is a $10 application fee
