Staying connected

Virtual Writing

Lit Camp has always been first and foremost, a community. During this time of physical distancing, we are making every effort to keep our community connected.

We've instituted thrice-monthly virtual Zoom writing sessions, where we can check in with each other, and write in community for 90 uninterrupted minutes.

These sessions are entirely free

We've also launched Lit Camp Live, an ongoing series of webinars to address all aspects of the writing life. Our first Lit Camp Live featured three Lit Camp alumni -- Christi Clancy, Cynthia Salaysay, and Carole Stivers -- with debut books.

Our second Lit Camp live was hosted by Grant Faulkner (NaNoWriMo) and Jane Ciabattaria (NBCC), and covered writing during a pandemic and the beauty of flash fiction.

Our next event will be late October/early November. To hear about upcoming Lit Camp Live events, please subscribe to our newsletter below.

Lit Camp was founded in 2012 to help writers get their books into the world. Since that time, many of our Lit Campers have gotten book deals from major publishers and published their books.

Lit Camp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are committed to never turning away any writer who is accepted into Lit Camp for financial reasons. Please consider donating to Lit Camp.
